When I Read It: 2002?
Genre: Island Boys
Plot: So, this plane crashes? And there are boys, and they get stranded on this island. There’s a really mean boy and a fat kid. They kill the fat kid and put a pig head on a stick. Maybe they eat him after, I don’t remember.
Grade: I despised this book when I was in school.

When I Saw It: 1995
Genre: Board Game
Plot: Robin Williams had a game that sucks people into it. He found it at a construction site. There was a family that played it and a lion hanging from the chandelier.
Grade: Too scary for a 6 year old.

Plot: Helen Hunt played the leading lady. She liked tornadoes. There was a jeep or something and they were near one and then drove away from it.

Plot: In the town everyone lives in, children get sorted into jobs. The main character got to be the Giver. He has weird visions, maybe. In the end, he slides down a hill.
Grade: Good.
